Paroksha
Paroksha, an electric trio featuring three of the UK’s most experienced improvisers, is pleased to announce the release of a brand new album ‘The Blue Guitar’ in tandem with the launch of the ‘Andersonshelta’ website. Paroksha, an independent collaboration, creates vibrant music for lovers of jazz, blues and contemporary music. The trio will be working Live, Europe wide, this year. Featuring Marco Anderson on drums, Philip Gibbs on guitar and Beni Williams on keyboards, ‘The Blue Guitar’ contains seven pieces of ground breaking and highly original music. With these tracks ‘Paroksha’ stake out a whole new territory of spontaneous music, using extended techniques and acoustic modelling synthesis. The album was recorded at the Bristol University Composition & Recording Studio, Victoria Rooms, Bristol UK and engineered by Jonathan Scott.
